Elske started singing at a very young age and could also be heard solo as a little girl. Since then she has always sung. During her conservatory studies she also received singing lessons and was increasingly asked to come and sing.

She studied singing with Guyette Delgorge in Arnhem, and with Maarten Koningsberger in Amsterdam.

She is much in demand as a soloist in the oratorio world.

She also sang solo with several major orchestras, including HET Symfonieorkest and Philharmonie Zuid Nederland.

Together with saxophonist Iris Gruber, organist/harpsichordist Liga Vilmane and cellist Marije Toenink she forms the ensemble 'il Canto di Rame'.

They perform baroque music as well as modern music and their own arrangements.

Elske also regularly gives solo recitals, including with pianist Jaap Eilander.

Elske has been singing with Consensus Vocalis since 2013.

And since 2014 she is regularly asked for projects at the Nederlandse Reisopera.
